Directions:  If you so choose, you may revise a graded essay for one letter grade higher.  This revision must be made within one week from the date that the original paper is returned to you.  In order to receive a grade improvement, you must: 

    1.      revise and resubmit the paper within one week
2.      work with an English teacher to improve the paper (writing lab)
3.      attach your original paper and all drafts to the back of the revised paper
4.      make substantial improvements in your revision
    a.       highlight teacher indicated changes in one color
    b.      indicate your changes in another color
5.      complete this form and attach it to the front of your paper
