This year in American Literature, we will study writers who have shaped our nation from colonists and Puritans through the present.  Required readings for this course include selections from Glencoe Literature:  The Reader’s Choice - American Literature text, plus the following books.  Click on each title below to link to my page, which provides a picture and biographical information about the author, essential questions for the text, and links to additional sites on that work. 

We will study these classic works in predominately chronological order.
