is an example of ambiguity because "hot" could refer to the flavor of the
BBQ sauce, the temperature outside (in July), or the idea that "it's hot"
because everyone likes it.
This example also includes a pun on the word "hot" because the advertiser was probably counting on viewers taking the sign multiple ways. |
