Multigenre Paper

Your Multigenre Family History paper is worth 100 points in English and in History.  This grade counts toward your nine week's grades.

Multigenre Section 80 A thoughtful and thorough collection of no fewer than four genres (at least two of substantial length) describing/retelling family stories (at least three with historical ties connecting it to a historical period).  This section should be impressive in the quality of work, the effort, and the final product.  Grammatical errors should be kept to a minimum.  Ideally a repetend will be included to connect the genres.  Some students also connect the whole project with a structure (scrapbook, etc.)
Notespage  10 Reflective in nature, your notes (or notespage) describe the inspiration for each of the pieces in the project.    They should document specific notes from sources:  who did you interview for each source, did you consult any text sources, and how are you related to the person in the genre.  Your notes should also provide an explanation of what is factual and what has been created or assumed about the situation.  Additionally, please give an update on what happened to the person in the genre (if it isn’t clear from the passage).
Bibliography 10

Accurately documents all sources using MLA style  (see Writer’s Inc. for sample)
