 | A cover page with a creative title for your paper |
 | Header with your last name & page number in upper right corner |
 | Your author and which work you're analyzing should be clearly noted in
your title or header |

 | Write a complex thesis (cause and effect or progression of ideas)
(It might take 20 minutes to write a great thesis, but it's worth it.
This is the central idea of your paper and it will have a large impact on
your grade.) |
 | Make sure all of your paper adheres to your thesis. (Double
check the focus of your paper when you're finished by making sure your
topic sentences fit under your thesis.) |
 | Inject critical thinking into your paper by asking yourself how? and
why? |
|
| Bibliography Page |
 | Cite all of your sources in MLA form. |
 | Remember to even cite sources where you found ideas (not just quotes,
though that's necessary too). This might include various websites,
classmates, and written resources. |
